As promised, a little recap about my trip to the Finger Lakes a few years back. The Finger Lakes is a wine region in upstate New York, and if you haven’t been… you should! It’s named for its geography – a series of long and thin lakes that look like fingers. My husband and I first heard about the Finger Lakes when we were attending a Wine Seminar at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, and the presenter was none other than Red Newt Cellars winemaker. So what did we do, plan a trip to the Finger Lakes for the following year!
We, of course, visited other vineyards as well. Leidenfrost Winery was absolutely beautiful and delicious vino, took home several bottles. You should also check out their Insta page @leidenfrostvineyards
Thirsty Owl Wine Company, love the name 🙂
There are many others to visit, and I plan to go back (hopefully soon). You should definitely consider visiting, especially if you live in the East Coast. Click here to get more info about the 3 Wine Trails – Cayuga, Keuka, and Seneca. Cheers!
